Dr. Cordell Brown is a theologian, teacher, business executive, published author, and ordained Elder with a deep commitment to the Word of God and the spiritual growth of God's people.

Originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica, Dr. Brown immigrated to the United States in 2006 to pursue higher education. He earned master's degrees in business administration and later completed doctoral degrees in Business Administration and Theology. His educational and professional background has equipped him with a unique perspective on leadership, organizational development, biblical studies, and the practical application of God's Word.

Dr. Brown's journey with the Lord Jesus Christ began at the age of six when he received water baptism. From those early beginnings, he has devoted much of his life to the service of God and has served the church in various capacities. His passion is especially evident in his commitment to teaching and communicating the Word of God, helping believers understand Scripture and apply its timeless truths to their everyday lives.

Dr. Brown serves as an ordained Elder and Assistant Pastor of Gospel Tabernacle Church–Franklin Ave., where he is committed to the spiritual growth and well-being of the congregation. He has a particular passion for teaching, discipleship, and encouraging young adults as they develop their faith, discover their purpose, and grow in their service to God. He also assists with the church's Music Ministry.

In addition to his ministry, Dr. Brown has more than thirteen years of experience in senior executive leadership, including service as a Chief Financial Officer. His professional background encompasses leadership, entrepreneurship, business development, human resources, and organizational management. He brings these experiences into his ministry with a desire to develop people, strengthen the church, and help others recognize and fulfill the purpose God has placed within them.

Dr. Brown is a published author of three books and is currently working on additional books and theological projects. His writing reflects his passion for biblical truth, Christian living, leadership, theology, and helping believers engage Scripture with greater understanding and practical faith.

He is married to Dr. Jordonna Brown, M.D., and together they are blessed with three children: Jotham Jonathan, Joash-Cordell, and Jalayah Lillian.

Outside of ministry, professional responsibilities, and writing, Dr. Brown enjoys carpentry, music, history, and the study of ancient political philosophy.

At the heart of Dr. Brown's life is a desire to make himself available to the service of Jesus Christ and to contribute to the advancement of God's Kingdom. He believes that the church is called not only to proclaim the Gospel, but also to equip believers to know God's Word, live it faithfully, discover their God-given purpose, and serve others with excellence.

His prayer and commitment are simple: to serve God faithfully, teach His Word clearly, encourage His people sincerely, and help advance the Kingdom of God in every sphere of life to which God has called him.
